THIEVES AND VANDALS PLAY HAVOC IN CLAY

Thieves and vandals played havoc in Clay over the weekend. They broke and entered several Clay businesses, according to the Clay Communicator. Among those hit, Linda's Hair Styling, Clay High, Dollar General, Kate's Florist, NAPA, Darlene's Hair Happening, and the Laundromat under IGA. It appeared that few items were taken. At NAPA, a rock was thrown through the front plate glass door. At Linda's hair styling the front door was knocked off the frame and digital scales were swiped. The Dollar General had entry made through the roof and through the air conditioning vents,and the money changer machine was damaged at the laundromat. The town's on-again, off-again policeman Buckshot Butcher investigated an entry at Clay High School.
