RICHARDS ARRAIGNED ON STOLEN PROPERTY CHARGES - Brian Rush Case

(09/03/2003)
John M. Richards, 39, of Grantsville, turned himself into authorities yesterday after warrants were issued by the West Virginia State Police regarding Richards allegedly receiving stolen property.

Richards was arrested, arraigned and released on bond.

He was released on $12,000 cash bond, posted in Magistrate Teresa Robinson's court.

There were two felony charges of receiving stolen property over $1000, and one misdemeanor charge of receiving stolen property under $1000.

In Calhoun Circuit Court yesterday, Judge Thomas Evans continued a hearing for 60 days - the State vs. Brian Rush on sexual assault charges.

Judge Evans revoked probation for Jaden Bell, but created other terms of a probation which will extend for two years.

Cases bound over include Alicia Schindler, William Bond, Bobby Shamblin and Roger Collins.

The Grand Jury is set to convene on January 6, 2004.
