LITTLE KANAWHA HITS PEAK EARLY WEDNESDAY

Tuesday's flooding caused the Little Kanwha River to rise. The National Weather Service said the water crested early Wednesday near 28 feet. The river was at 15.5 feet at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The NWS was projecting the river to crest near 30 feet. Flood stage is 36 feet at Grantsville.
