The Drexell Ice Scholarship Fund has helped numerous Calhoun students.
The fund recently received a donation of $666.00 from the Offutt family reunion.
"Over the past several years the Offutt Reunion has donated several thousand
dollars in memory of Drexell Ice" said Bob Bonar, fund treasurer.
He said thanks to contributions like this, the fund has been able to increase the
scholarship to $500.
The fund is a permanent endowment and the money awarded comes from interest
on investments.
Bonar said the fund is always looking for new contributors. Contributions may be
made to the Calhoun Bank or by contacting Robert G. Bonar, 195 Johnson Street,
