Nellie Bailess, 93, of Grantsville, West Virginia, died at home sunday, August 24, 2003.
She was a daughter of the late Oak and Clara Ferrell, she was a homemaker and a member
of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son and daughter in law, Bob and Julia Bailess of Briston, Virginia; five
daughters, Geraldine Diehl of North Olmstead, Ohio, Mary Collins of Mantua, Ohio, Janet
Orozco and her husband, Bob of Laguna Hills, California, Nancy Taylor of Grantsville and
Linda Blankenship and her husband Neil of Grantsville; one brother, Glen Ferrell of
Davisville, WV; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest O. Bailess; 1 sister and 4 brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 26 at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home,
Grantsville. Rev. Carroll McCauley will officiate. Interment will be in the Broomstick Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
