LITTLE CREEK MAN SHOT - Police Looking For Suspect In Shooting

9:30 PM - A Little Creek man has been shot in what was described as an "ambush" on the Ace Haney Hill. Richard Starcher, who operates an auto repair shop on Little Creek, was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center by Calhoun EMS. The shooting happened about 8 p.m. on a remote road between Hardman Fork and Little Creek. Sheriff Allen Parsons and at least two other Deputy Sheriff units responded to the call, and a State Policeman from Roane County was coming to the scene. Starcher's condition is unknown.
