| Robert J. Ray, 79, of Shock, died August 12, 2003 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care
Center, Grantsville.
Born in Shamokin Dam, PA, he was a son of the late Robert and Mary Ray.He was a US Navy vet and was retired from Rockwell Standard Bumper Division of Newton Falls, Ohio. He was a lifelong member of the VFW and AmVets.
Surviving, his wife of 50 years, Pearl I. Ray; son, Robert Ray, Jr. of Largo, Florida;
daughters, Mary Ann Nichols of Shock, Gayle E. Jewell of Newton Falls, Ohio and
Sharon Kelley of Sunbury PA.; Three sisters, Doris Feger of Seleingrove, PA, Vonnie Weisen and Joyce Crainak both of Shamokin Dam, PA; two brothers, Jack Ray of Treverton, PA and Sam Ray of Shamokin Dam; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home
in Arnoldsburg, WV. Evangelist Gene Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Rosedale
Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
