VEHICLE STRIKES PARKED CARS, MOTORCYCLE INJURES DRIVER AND RATTLESNAKES

A car went out of control on Barr Hill at Dye's Garage last night striking several parked cars, according to Deputy Sheriff Ron Bandy. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured, but there was damage to the vehicles.

A motorcyclist traveling on Altizer Road wrecked his bike at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The driver was taken to Roane General Hospital by his wife, who was following him in a car. Deputy Sheriff Ron Bandy investigated.

911 received a call from a Calhoun resident complaining about a den of rattlesnakes underneath a mobile home. DNR officer Tom Fox was reportedly investigating.
