NE USA WITHOUT POWER - Grid Has Malfunctioned, Akron-Cleveland Area Without Power, 500 Mile Area

4:30 PM - Power outages have struck the northeast US, from NY to Cleveland to Canada. Authorities are saying the outage has nothing to do with terrorism. Eight million people in NYC are without power, thousands from buildings have been forced to the street because of lack of lights and cooling. Many New Yorkers are stuck in elevators. Akron-Cleveland is without power. Early reports indicate a power plant may have gone down, somehow affecting the NE power grid. The Hur Herald server is in Washington DC, an area which appears to be unaffected. It is pleasant here at Hur, sipping lemonade and enjoying the hot summer day.
