WISE ANNOUNCES HE IS NOT RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR

4 PM - Governor Bob Wise announced today he will not seek re-election. The announcement came after the state Republican party issued press releases over the past several days with the news. Wise says he has three major issues facing him. Repairing damage done to his family following his extra-marital affair, being an effective governor and running for re-election. Wise says he believes he could only do two of those things well. Considering the issues, the governor said running for re-election is out of the picture. Wise says he plans to be a very effective governor during the next 16 months and there's much to accomplish.
