ARNELL DAVIS - St. Marys

Arnell Davis, 76, of St. Marys, West Virginia, died July 27, 2003, at Camden Clark Hospital, Parkersburg, after a short illness. Born in Calhoun County, February 26, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Clark and Olive Freshour Wilson. She lived and worked most of her life in Grantsville, WV until moving to St. Marys in 1995 to be closer to her family. Surviving is one sister, Ila Hildreth of Coatsville, Indiana; son, Denver Davis and his wife, Carrol, of St. Marys; daughter-in-law, Pat Davis of Birch River, WV; six grandchildren, Michael, Eric Scott, Deny, April and Lisa Davis and Angel Pettit; one great grandson, Justin Michael Davis. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Davis; a sister, June Freed and three brothers, Earl, Troy and Opha Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville with Pastor Mike Reynolds officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to pay respects on July 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at the Nobe Cemetery.
