An earlier slip gained momentum this spring on Rt. 16 just north of Minnora, causing the road
to cave and the highway to collapse. The harsh winter and extensive rain this spring
contributed to the problem. The West Virginia Department of Highways is spending $100,000
to correct the situation, which is currently stabilized. |
