BURGESS RESIGNS AS EMS CHIEF - Board Will Post For Replacement

Calhoun EMS Director Randy Burgess has submitted a letter of resignation, according to Lisa Purvis, Assistant Director. The local EMS board is meeting tonight, and is expected to accept his resignation. The EMS board is expected to post the position, since Burgess' last day is August 4th. The board will likely advertise the job, publishing the job requirements. Burgess has held the post for several years.
