FORMER ST. JOE ADMINISTRATOR MURDERED - Body Found In Jackson County Grave

(07/23/2003)
A former hospital administrator at St. Joseph Hospital in Parkersburg has been found in a secluded area of Jackson County, apparently murdered.

Linda Culp, now a CEO of a hospital in London, Kentucky, was found buried yesterday in a shallow grave on a farm she and her husband reportedly owned.

Police have issued a warrant for her husband's arrest. Gary Culp is wanted on a first-degree murder charge, according to West Virginia State Police.

Police received a call yesterday from friends saying that Culp hadn't come to work in several days. Culp lived in a London apartment during her work week and spent her days off at a Kenna farm.

The woman's husband has reportedly fled west on I-70.

A cause of death has not been determined.
