SEVERE WEATHER UPDATE:THUNDERSTORMS WIND TO 70 MPH - 6 PM STORM OVER NORTHERN CALHOUN

STORM WARNING EXTENDED UNTIL 11 PM SATURDAY.

Weather Advisory calls for severe thunderstorms, winds to 70 mph and large hail in the affected areas.

Update now shows severe thunderstorm activity for northern Calhoun (6PM) Radar shows the storm over the Leading Creek-Big Springs area.

Storms are coming from the southwest and are likely to hit southern Calhoun within the next few hours.

NWS RADAR ar 4 PM showed an extreme storm pattern north of Calhoun, Wirt and Roane County, traveling northeast through Parkersburg,Pleasants, Ritchie and Doddridge.

Other severe storms are sweeping south of our area, south of Charleston.
