TEEN DROWNS IN RITCHIE LAKE - Eric Alan Jones, 19

A teen-ager has drowned Sunday evening in a Ritchie County lake at Pennsboro. State Police say the victim is 19-year-old Eric Alan Jones of Pennsboro. Ritchie County coroner John Beaver says the teen was reportedly swimming across Tracy Lake in Pennsboro when he went under the surface just after 6 p.m. He was near the lake's edge, with his mother and brother nearby. The teen's name isn't being released pending notification of other relatives. Police are investigating.
