9:10 PM - Police were looking for a car and driver who struck a 22-year-old man on US 33/119 between Sand Ridge and Stumptown Thursday evening.

Calhoun EMS transported the injured man to Roane General Hospital in Spencer, the nature of his injuries unknown.

The incident happened on Little Bear Fork.

The hit-and-run driver reportedly had Maine license plates, front and back, on an older model light blue Toyota or Subaru 4-door.

The vehicle was being driven by a female, with several male passengers.
