Geraldine Eddy Murray, 61, of Ripley died Sunday, June 29, 2003, at her residence.

She was born in Nicut, W.Va., a daughter of the late Eddie Doy and Lou Ranie Cottrell Kyer.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Women of the moose and a founder of the Levis & Lace Country Dance Club. Gardening, painting and dancing were her passions. She also loved fishing, was a devoted mother and enjoyed the company of her many, many friends. She was formerly married to the late Gary A. Eddy.

She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Murray; a son, Jarod A. Eddy of Vienna; two stepdaughters, Mary Jo Eddy of Temple Terrace, Fla., and Lindsay M Murray of Wheeling; and one stepson, David A. Eddy of Temple Terra, Fla.

Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Dr. Kurt Busick officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today and 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
