SIX INVOLVED IN ATV-CAR COLLISION - Three Children Spared Injury By Restraints

(06/27/2003)
At least six people received some injuries in an ATV and car collision Wednesday night near the Mud Fork church (Stinson) off State Route 16.

An ATV being driven by Keith Moore reportedly struck a car being driven by Anita Greathouse Rapp, 25, of Crummies Creek. Rapp and three children, ages two to six, were taken to Roane General Hospital in Spencer.

Moore was life-flighted from the Upper West Fork Park by HealthNet, suffering from a severe arm injury.

The children were in seat belts and car seats, receiving only minor injuries. Rapp, who was seven months pregnant, reportedly went into labor, but responded to treatment at Roane General. She was released yesterday.

A passenger on the Moore ATV was identified as Cristy McCune. She reportedly received multiple-injuries and was initially taken to Braxton County hospital.
