TRAFFIC SLOW DOWN AT CALHOUN MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL - Turning Lane Being Constructed

There is a major slow down for motorists at the entrance to Calhoun Middle/High School. Drivers are urged to be cautious in the area for the next few days as a turning lane is being installed at the school, according to the Calhoun County Department of Highways. Expect traffic delays with stop lights being erected on Route 16 on both sides of the construction. The turning lane will benefit motorists driving north on Rt. 16 from Millstone, a left turning lane into the school. The lane is expected to improve traffic flow at the school entrance. Carl Kelley Paving is completing the work.
