Minnie Jane Vaughan Stemple, 94, of Walnut Community, Rosedale, West Virginia, died June
2nd at the home of her daughter, Bernice White.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Lee and Sabrina Rhodes
Hardway.
Surviving are one daughter, Bernice M. White of Rosdale; one son, Bernard D. Vaughan of
Florida; one brother, Donald Hardway of Rosedale; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and
2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lonnie Vaughan; her second husband,
Ralph Stemple; a son, Junior Paul Vaughan; three sisters, Bertha Ester Hardway, Mandy
Ethel Morris and Etta Catheryn Thomas.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Walnut Community Church. Rev.
Lester Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in the Jarvis Cemetery at Floe, WV. Friends may
call at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. |
