Glena Gainer Marshall of New Martinsville, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, May
22, 2003 at the age of 91.
The daughter of the late Lee and Laura Gainer of
White Pine and Grantsville, WV, Glena was preceded in death by her husband of 67
years, George A. Marshall, also of Grantsville, and brothers Otho, Burl and
Denzil Gainer as well as one sister Elva Fowler.
Glena is survived by two sons, Roger Marshall of Baltimore, Maryland, and Dr. Neill
Marshall of New Martinsville. She had 4 Grandchildren, Susan,
Richard, Christopher, and Charlene. Glena loved to take roads less traveled,
always wandering where "that road goes".
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the First United
Methodist Church of New Martinsville, and the WSCS at that church. She served as a
volunteer at the Wetzel County Hospital, where she died.
