Governor Wise with mountain bikers
Governor Bob Wise declared the month of June as West Virginia Mountain Bike Month yesterday at
the Capitol while surrounded by WV mountain bikers from around the state.
The Governor presented the declaration to Matt Marcus, President of the WV Mountain Bike
Association, and was in turn presented with a WM Mountain Bike Racing Team Jersey by Steve
Thaxton, a camelbak hydration system by Laird Knight (Granny Gear Productions), and an energy
bar from Chris Phillips (Team DEVO).
