Coach Tim Davis hands out awards for basketball The annual Calhoun High School All-Sports Banquet, sponsored by the Athletic Boosters, recognized CHS students for their contributions to 2002-03 athletics. Bob Bailey (Class of '77) served as Master of Ceremonies for the event which was held Friday evening. Parents, coaches and athletes enjoyed a banquet dinner prior to the awards ceremony. Bailey spoke to the audience about his long-time interest in sports and being grateful for the opportunity of being at the awards banquet. Former CHS graduate of 1992 Brian Stump was the guest speaker for the event. Stump spoke to the athletes about setting goals, saying "You and only you can determine the destiny of your life." He said his high school and college career playing sports was an "Awesome time." Kathy Conley told the group the Athletic Boosters had raised $25,000 to support CHS programs.
