CAR STRIKES HILL, LANDS ON TOP - Accident Sends Two To Hospital

UPDATE 6 P.M. - A car struck the hillside and landed on its top about 4 p.m. Tuesday at Millstone on U.S. 33-119 east of Arnoldsburg. At least two people were taken to Roane General Hospital. Authorities said Christie and Jennifer Thomas of Millstone were taken to Roane General Hospital by Calhoun EMS for treatment of injuries. The vehicle, which was traveling west toward Arnoldsburg, was smashed when it landed in the highway. It was described as a total loss.

Calhoun EMS responded with two ambulances. The Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department also responded. State Trooper J. B. Hunt and Deputy Ron Bandy investigated the accident.
