Cai Clothier, age 11, of Millstone, West Virginia is the WV Mountain Bike Racing
Team's youngest member. Cai is a 5th grade student at Calhoun Middle
School. He is in his 4th year of the WV Mountain Bike Association's Point
Series Cross Country Races, but also does WVMBA Kid's Races and Middle
School races. He races in the Junior Men 14 and under class, who's race lap
is generally 7 to 14 miles.
Cai placed 2nd at Spencer's Charles Fork Tour de Lake race on Sunday.
Upon completing the race, he said "I'm cold, I want to eat, and, boy, was
that fun!" Cai loves wet, muddy trails, and can climb hills with the
best ... he does want to thank the sport rider with the orange wind breaker
who helped across the flooded low water bridge. Cai said he was "headed
down stream until this guy caught hold of me!"
The WV Mountain Bike Racing Team is sponsored by WV Tourism, WorldWide
