MAN'S CAR LANDS IN WEST FORK - Taken To MHHCC

A 78-year-old Orma man received some injuries when his car went out of control near the Gerald Newell residence, his vehicle landing in the West Fork.

The elderly man was removed from the car and taken to his nearby residence, and then was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center for treatment by Calhoun EMS.

The accident happened at 11:33 p.m. Monday night.

The Upper West Fork VFD responded to the scene.

A lower Nicut woman was also injured in a car accident Monday evening, and Calhoun EMS responded to a residence where she was located after the accident.
