NATIONAL HOSPITAL WEEK MAY 11 Through 17 - Bringing The Power Of Care To The Community

Submitted by Mariko Hewitt Outreach Coordinator, MHHCC May 11-17, 2003 marks the 82nd anniversary of National Hospital Week. The American Hospital Association has declared the theme for this year to be "Bringing the Power of Care to the Community." This theme reflects the message that one of the most important attributes of a hospital or clinic is its employees who, with their experience, wisdom and compassion, work together as a team to ensure that patients receive the best care possible in a caring manner. The dedication and hard work of individuals working in health care deserve universal regard and appreciation for keeping our community healthy. Take this opportunity to thank the health care workers in Calhoun County and let them know how much we value their contributions to the quality of health care in our community.
