Scouts tie yellow ribbons honoring troops

The Black Diamond Girl Scouts honored area soldiers Wednesday evening in front of the Calhoun County courthouse. The Pleasant Hill military support group read soldier's names as troop members tied yellow ribbons on the lawn's large pine tree.

A brief program was given, including the Pledge of Allegiance and "My America," sung by Tiffany Swisher. Participating, the Daisy Troop, Brownie Troop #4971, Brownie Troop #4195, Junior Troop #4132 and Cadet Troop #4130.
