Lois Carol Witt Babitzke, 64, of Tucson, Arizona, died Thursday, April 17,
2003.
She was born in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Donald Fred and
Mary Ruth McDonald Witt. She graduated from Calhoun County High School
and West Virginia University and entered the U.S. Air Force in 1962. She
served in Texas, Alaska, Southeast Asia and Arizona as a personnel
officer, and retired as a Major in November, 1989.
Surviving are her husband, Edward Babitzke, whom she married on October 5,
1963; two step-sons, Edward Babitzke of Sioux City, Iowa, and Ricky
Babitzke of East Peoria, Illinois.; three step-Âgrandchildren; three
step-great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one brother, Byron Witt of Morgantown, WV.
Services were held at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery: with Rev. Les Hall
officiating and military honors by Military Detail of Altus Air Force
Base.
