Mildred Valentine, 86, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital and later transported to Charleston after the accident in a construction area on U.S. 50. She was a passenger in a truck driven by Cecil Valentine.

The truck was hit head-on by a Dodge Caravan driven by a 17-year-old Parkersburg girl.
