Members of the Burnt House Harmony
I.O.O.F. Lodge visited George Whipkey
at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center- Long Term
Care on On March 31st.
Mr. Whipkey was presented a 50 year membership pin by members, Jiggs Reeves, Bob Newton, John Freshour,
Larry Collins, and Monroe Bailey.
Mr. Whipkey who was very surprised said he had not
expected to ever receive anything like this and was
very honored to receive the pin. He also stated that
he was very proud of the organization, and thanked
them so much for honoring him.
Mr. Whipkey also celebrated his 97th Birthday on March
25, 2003.
