HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT CHARGED OVER MARIJUANA BROWNIES - State Police Sign Stolen

An 18-year-old Calhoun High School student is being charged with multiple felonies after he made marijuana brownies, brought them to school and sold them to students. Several students who purchased the brownies are being cited.

Authorities reported the State Police detachment sign in front of the barracks on Phillip's Run was stolen early morning Thursday. A sign at the entrance of Calhoun County Park was also removed.

Firemen responded to a small brush fire on Sycamore at 8:03 p.m. near Sheriff Allen Parsons residence.
