Dora M. Starcher, 86, of Palestine, Wirt County, died April 15th at home following a long
illness.
Born June 15, 1916 in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Grant and Nancy
McCartney Richards.
Surviving are one son, Nolan Harris of Palestine; three daughters, Velma Kerby of Grantsville,
Sharon Shuman of Elizabeth and Leveda Wright of Palestine.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Farley
Blankenship will officiate. Interment will be in the Big Springs Cemetery at Big Springs. Friends
may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
