Artificial Intelligence came out of the closet in 2024 with its' impact causing a stir, the greatest thing since cream cheese or how we get information or how far it will go preempting hundreds of thousands of jobs. Many believe that millions of jobs will be eliminated.

As the first quarter of the 21st Century comes to a close and our comings and doings are monitored and recorded by Artificial Intelligence or Rights to Privacy will become practically non-existent. America's Rights to Privacy were diminished further after the 9-11 attack on America and the creation of Homeland Security and the Patroit Act. Video cams are on every corner and business with satellite vision monitoring our ever movement from high (Google Earth), able to focus on backyard activity, or recording images of our homes and businesses taken from the roadway (Google Street View). America has been fast-fowarding with conspicuous consumption since the Industrial Revolution. We now live in an age of conspicuous consumption of the mind, a requirement that we entertain ourselves to death, facing a high-tech screen, consuming our minds. |
