KENNETH E. ROBERTS - Parkersburg

Kenneth E. Roberts, 64, of Parkersburg died April 10, 2003, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born in Spencer, the son of the late Allie and Elva Craddocks Roberts. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a member of the Parkersburg American Legion Post 15, the Parkersburg VFW Post 1212, the Parkersburg Yacht Club and the Vienna Masonic Lodge No. 172. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being on the river. He retired from GE Plastics in 1996 where he worked as a chemical operator. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Loretta J. McCrady Roberts of Parkersburg; his daughter, Michelle Roberts of Parkersburg; his son, Michael Roberts, M.D., and his wife, Lisa, of Parkersburg; one grandson, Aidan Roberts of Parkersburg; two brothers, Donald Roberts of Akron, Ohio, and Gary Roberts of Spencer; and one sister, Phyllis Harris of Moundsville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery with military graveside services by the Parkersburg American Legion Post 15. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral.
