She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of Vonnie Lea McKown Hall of Orrville and the late Calhoun Hall.

She was employed as a nurse's aid at Shady Lawn Nursing Home near Orrville for over 14 years.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Maxel Smith of Orrville; one daughter, Becky Minney of Spencer; one brother, Gary Hall of Orrville; one sister, Pansy Brannon of Orrville; step-father, Chester McKown; and one grandson.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Whited officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Calhoun County.
