2023: AFTER 100 YEARS, DELIPIDATED RAINBOW HOTEL FINALLY DEMOLISHED

By Bob Weaver 2023 After more than 100 years, Grantsville's delipidated Rainbow Hotel has finally been razed. If the walls could talk, what stories would they tell. Multiple efforts started in the late 1990s to demolish the eyesore, mayors, councils and citizen activists. Many feared the structure would be a victim of arson, causing another firestorm in the town. Today, nearby households and locals turned out to watch the action.
