THIS OLE STORE - Harris Veggie Stand At Orma

Bob Weaver 2023 Fifty years or so ago an Orma, Calhoun man and his wife embarked on a business venture on Rt. 16 at the mouth of Rush Run. Chester and Mary Harris started raising large crops of vegetables and fruit, and building their small veggie stand store. He built the store with lumber from his own sawmill. Fascinatingly, the building is still standing in 2023, with a sturdy wooden display standing out front.
