Larry Allen Weese, 67, of Sand Fork

Larry Allen Weese, 67, of Sand Fork WV, departed this earthly life in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Braxton Co. Memorial Hospital in Gassaway WV, following a brief illness. He was born January 18, 1953 in Webster County WV, son of Mamie Smith of Elkins WV. Larry worked as a chain thrower/rig hand in the oil and gas industry and in his spare time he enjoyed WVU and Pittsburgh Steelers football, hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors, and living the quiet life in West Virginia. Along with his mother, Larry is survived by his his long term companion, Cathy Malcomb, whom he was with for 40 years and a brother, Ronnie L. Smith of Sand Fork. Larry is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Williams, and an infant brother, Johnny Smith. Larry’s request for cremation has been honored and Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., of Glenville WV, is honored to assist the family of Larry Allen Weese with cremation arrangements.
