FRIDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - 70 Deaths

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 1,469 new COVID-19 cases and 70 additional deaths in its report on Oct. 8.

The DHHR confirmed 1,525 new COVID-19 cases and 27 additional deaths in its report on Thursday.

The DHHR reports there have been 250,800 (+1,469) total cases and 3,936 (+70) total deaths. According to the DHHR dashboard, there are currently 11,926 (+297) active cases.
