A Big Bend woman was arrested Monday by the Calhoun Sheriffs Department related to a illegal drug transaction.

Amanda Noel Rinehart, 33, was charged with one count of drug conspiracy related to a transaction she participated in with Patrick Ryan Bell, 24.

A criminal complaint alleges Rinehart participated in the purchase of meth, being a driver for Bell, in acquiring a significant amount of the illegal substance near Morgantown.

The complaint alleges that Bell obtained meth and was bringing it back to Calhoun to distribute.

Rinehart was taken to Central Regional Jail.

Bell had been incarcerated earlier for probation violation, a person prohibited with a firearm and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
