UPDATE: 80-YEAR-OLD MAN'S BODY FOUND NEAR ROSEDALE NON-SUSPICIOUS DEATH

West Virginia State Police are investigating what they describe as a non- suspicious death after a 80-year-old man’s body was found at Rosedale, Braxton County.

State Police Capt. Brian Utt said a Boone County man’s body was found on a dirt road in the Rosedale area near a camp site.

Utt said the man may have been squirrel hunting, and a firearm was found at the scene.

State police from Braxton and Gilmer counties, the State Police Crime Lab, Frametown Volunteer Fire Department, and Braxton County EMS all responded to the scene.
