MCDOWELL MURDER - McDowell County deputies are looking for two suspects in a homicide investigation.

Raquel Deshowna Adams, 34, of Welch and Kobe Rashawn Brown, 23, of Havaco are being sought in connection with a homicide that occurred Monday in Havaco area, the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office said.

The sheriff’s office the name of the victim is being withheld until the family can be notified. More details about the death were not immediately available.

Adams and Brown are being sought on murder charges, the sheriff’s office said.

BRANDISHING KNIFE - A man has been arrested after allegedly brandishing a knife at a security guard in Charleston.

The Charleston Police Department says the alleged incident happened this morning, Sept. 21, 2021, at the Charleston Town Center.

According to the CPD, the suspect, identified as Darnell Traylor, 46, of Charleston, faces charges of shoplifting, brandishing and being a fugitive from justice. He is expected to be arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

WHEELING SHOOTING - Wheeling Police say the suspect in Monday afternoon’s shooting on 29th Street has turned himself in.

Daniel Wines, 21 of Clearview, was arraigned Tuesday morning by an Ohio County magistrate on an attempted murder charge. Bond was set at $100,000.

The victim remains hospitalized.
