CALHOUN COUNTY OFFERS KINDERGARTEN READINESS GROUPS FOR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS

Did you know Calhoun County offers Kindergarten Readiness groups for Parents and Caregivers to attend weekly with their 3-to-5-year old's?

The program builds strong foundations for parenting and school readiness and is a powerful catalyst in helping children achieve a lifetime of learning.

This is based on three core science principles.
1) Create positive adult-child relationships.
2) Foster back and forth interaction.
3) Drive life skills that promote executive function.

Weekly In-person groups (will be announced at a later date.)
Weekly Virtual groups (Every week on our Facebook page.)
School readiness activities include, Books for Home Libraries, Education materials.

Vroom tips are written with leaders in neuroscience, psychology, behavioral economics, parenting, and early childhood development.

Located at both Elementary schools - You should register if, your child is 3—5 years old.

If you are interested in preparing your child for kindergarten! Help introduce your child to peers and school setting, help with transitioning into school setting.
