Paulette Sheer Samples, of Chloe

On Friday, February 12th, 2021 Paulette Samples (nee Sheer) of Chloe WV, went home to our Lord surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 10, 1944 in Buffalo NY to Raymond and Melvena Sheer, the middle of six children, Paulette remained close to her siblings, Janice, Jim, Richard, Lynn and the late Jack Sheer. Paulette was the beloved wife of the late Paul Franklin Samples and loving mother to the late Karen Lee Jacobs (February 7th, 2021). Paulette is sadly missed by her children, Bruce (Erin) Jacobs, and Dawn Schultz. She was the proud grandmother to Meghan (Adam) Butler, Kenny (Katie) Chriswell, Angel (David) Sanders, Dylan (Brittan) Jacobs, Delaney Jacobs, Michaeleen Jacobs, Nolan Jacobs, Kody (Ashley) Schultz, Christopher Schultz, Emily Schultz and great grandma to Allison, Gavin, Delilah, Reyna, Brody, Rylie. Loving care giver Stacey Samples. A devout Catholic and very active in her church until she became ill. Paulette practiced and lived works of mercy daily, and prayed the rosary with gusto. Paulette enjoyed nothing more than her Sunday spaghetti dinners where her dear family was gathered in her large, busy kitchen where she fed us, laughed with us and loved us.
