WOMAN MURDERS WOMAN - West Virginia State Police said a Wayne County woman has confessed to murdering another woman and concealing her body in a trash bag.

Troopers responded about 9 a.m. Tuesday to a deceased body call on Berry Branch Drive in Branchland, off Raccoon Creek Road in Wayne County, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police.

Tina G. Adkins, 58, of Branchland was reported missing from the area on Monday. Her body was found concealed in a trash bag at the home of Carry Nicole Ramey by family members of Adkins, the release said.

Ramey, 28, of Branchland confessed to murdering Adkins and concealing her body inside her home, State Police said.

State Police said Ramey was arrested on charges of murder and concealment of a deceased body.

MORGANTOWN STABBING - Morgantown police are investigating a stabbing incident.

Police said in a news release they responded about 7:45 p.m. Monday to the 300 block of High Street and found a male who had been stabbed in the leg and back.

First aid was administered, and the male was taken by Monongalia County EMS to Ruby Memorial Hospital. No condition was immediately available.

Witnesses at the scene provided descriptions of individuals who were fleeing from the area.
