| West Virginia fire marshals said a man died in a house fire over the weekend near the Gilmer-Calhoun county line.
The fire was on Rt. 5 about four miles from Calhoun line.
The man who died in the blaze Saturday was 83 years old.
An elderly woman was taken to the hospital with injuries. Her condition was not immediately available.
Fire marshals said the cause of the fire has not been determined, but it is probably accidental.
Those reports indicated the man was smoking while on oxygen.
