Two family members who left Cross Lanes in a vehicle and disappeared, were discovered Monday night in Wirt County.
Brenda Curry, 81, was found dead in a vehicle over the hillside by a Wirt resident, her daughter, Wanda McClung, 56, was rescued and taken to a hospital, suffering from dehydration, bruising and a broken ankle.
The pair, traveling Thursday to Ritchie County to pick up a grandchild.
