ROARING RECORD: FRIDAY WV COVID-19 REPORT - CALHOUN HAS 129 NEW CASES SINCE LAST FRIDAY, 42 NEW CASES IN PAST 24 HOURS

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 2,075 new COVID-19 cases and seven additional deaths in its report on Sept. 3.

Calhoun has 42 record new cases in past 24 hours, 129 cases since last Friday, with significant outbreak connected to Calhoun Schools. (SEE earlier articles)

Calhoun could have well over 150 active cases, a significant number hospitalized,

The DHHR confirmed 1,632 new COVID-19 cases and 11 additional deaths in its report on Thursday.

The DHHR reports there have been 3,443,857 (+16,791) total confirmatory laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 194,863 (+2,075) total cases and 3,124 (+7) total deaths.

According to the DHHR dashboard, there are currently 19,434 active cases.
